Has the Tenn Toad moved west and turned into a Greyhound or something? Last part, as due other sections, appears to have been influenced by “Ojo”. Section I: hammer-on’s came to me in a flash (couple of beers helped too!) I really believe this is what he’s doing... hits harmonic...as it rings he hammers on chords with just left hand. This was certainly not a common technique in ‘69 when Armadillo was recorded. You reckon Hedges was influenced by this? (He credits Leo as a major influence on his playing) Section II: Note 4th note of measure is a pause, however slight..then another thumb to start pattern around chords. The 1st string, 1st fret position is just like, or very close, to Ojo pattern.....again, appears Ojo influenced this tune or maybe it was the other way round. Section III: “Missing in action”...I give up. Sorry, can’t break the code on this one folks! Help!!! :-) THE LAST OF THE ARKANSAS GREYHOUNDS Leo Kottke From: 6&12 String Guitar Tab: Jim Jarrell Thanks for the assist from Scott Jones!
