Sometime after that, I came across a version of the song in a songbook, which was significantly different, but by that time I was so used to my version that the songbook one sounded wrong. The songbook version uses only four chords for most of the song--Eb, Bb, Cm and Ab, which turn into G, D, Em and C in this key--plus a Gb (Bb) on the "Oh" at the end of the second chorus. Anyway, I hope someone can get some use out of this version (which I think breaks every rule of chord progressions in the book, but...), and I'll try to post some more *official* Maniacs in the future.
