So here it is again, played with a capo on the 2nd fret. Well, most of this song is played on piano (um, all of it I think) but live I believe she does it on guitar, or so I've been told/led to believe, so here's a good arrangement. Listen to the record for rhythms. These are just chord forms. Not actual chords sounds, see tab at bottom for more info. (hum and make cute little happy sounds over intro) G Am7 D G Am7 D G Bm7 D G C Am7 Dsus2 C D Em7 C G/B Your love is better than Ice Cream Am7 D G/B C Better than anything else that I've tried. Am7 D Em7 C G/B Your love is better than Ice Cream. Am7 D C Am7 Everyone here knows how to fight. Em D Am7 And it's a long way down Em D Am7 It's a long way down Em D Am7 C G/B C G/B Em It's a long way down to the place where we started from G Am7 D G Am7 D C D Em7 C G/B Your love is better than chocolate Am7 D G/B C Better than anything else that I've tried. Am7 D Em7 C G/B Oh, love is better than chocolate. Am7 D C Am7 Everyone here knows how to cry. Em D Am7 And it's a long way down Em D Am7 It's a long way down Em D Am7 C G/B C G/B Em It's a long way down to the place where we started from G/B C G Em Do do do do do do do G Am7 D Do do do do do do do Repeat that last line till the end. As the song is in G, end on an G chord, unless by some strange act of God you can fade yourself out like on the record... To make life easier, here's TAB for all of the chords... The important thing here, zeros are in fact twos, since thats where you have the capo. e--3---0-----2---0----0------0-----------0-------| B--3---1-----3---1----3------0-----3-----0-------| G--0---0-----2---0----2------0-----0-----0-------| D--0---2-----0---2----0------0-----0-----2-------| A--2---0---------3-----------2-----2-----2-------| E--3-------------------------0-----------0-------| G Am7 D C Dsus2 Em7 G/B Em Hope this is through enough to allow you to happily play in any given acoustic coffee house or hang-out joint of your choice!
