Withered and died, Richard thompson

From bhutchinson@cix.compulink.co.uk Mon Feb 13 11:36:08 PST 1995 Article: 33276 of rec.music.makers.guitar.tablature Newsgroups: rec.music.makers.guitar.tablature Path: unixg.ubc.ca!unixg.ubc.ca!news.mic.ucla.edu!library.ucla.edu!agate!howland.reston.ans.net!pipex!uknet!cix.compulink.co.uk!usenet From: bhutchinson@cix.compulink.co.uk ("Barry Hutchinson") Subject: TAB: "Withered and Died", by Richard Thompson Message-ID: <D3wA0s.FuL@cix.compulink.co.uk> Organization: Barry Hutchinson Date: Sun, 12 Feb 1995 16:05:15 GMT X-News-Software: Ameol Lines: 162 A simple fingerstyle arrangement of a very pretty song - sung by Linda T., as was, on the album "I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight". R.T. has a great knack for writing very authentic-sounding "traditional" songs - "How Will I Ever Be Simple Again" being another of my own favourites. I like his later style too, but the early stuff still moves me most. One verse and coda transcribed. All comments very welcome.
